Kathmandu Valley experiences “coldest day” of 2021

Kathmandu, November 17. Today was the coldest day of the year in the Kathmandu Valley so far.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature of the Valley was measured at 7.4 degrees Celsius. On Monday, it was 8.0 degrees Celsius. The Department has urged one and all to take precautions against the cold.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, temperatures have begun to drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius on average each day across the country. Winter began under the effect of the Westerly wind, according to the Division.
Today, Jumla had the lowest temperature of -4.5 degrees Celsius, while Janakpur had the highest temperature of 29.2 degrees Celsius.
