Landslides along Narayangarh-Mugling-Naubise highway

Mugling.The Narayangarh-Naubise road section enroute to Mugling has been limited to just one-way operation due to landslides. According to Kanchan Tamang, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Mugling, the highway was blocked by a landslide at Charkilo Danda in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-6 on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, the Mugling-Naubise road too is in one-way operation. According to the Area Police Office, Majhimtar, Dhading, the limitation is due to mudflow from a hill at Bandarebhir in Benighat Rorang VDC of Dhading.
Landslides have been a usual occurrence along these routes in the monsoon season. As per the police sources, attempts are being made to resume the two-way operations of the roads.
