Bus crashed over marriage procession in Pakistan, 8 killed
Kathmandu, December 18. Atleast eight people were killed and nine others sustained injuries when a passenger bus ran over a marriage procession in Pakistan.
The incident occured on Friday near the Tahil Adda area in Bahauddin of Eastern Pubjab province.
Local police confirmed that the accident occured because of low visibility that resulted from a dense fog. ‘The driver was unable to get control of the bus while applying brakes at emergency situation.’ said officials.
The police has registered a case against the absconding driver.
Meanwhile, the injured individuals are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The medic administration have informed that several patients are in critical condition and the death toll could rise.
