Lockdown to be imposed again if active coronavirus cases soar

Kathmandu. Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam stated that the ministry has recommended imposing a lockdown if the number of active coronavirus cases in the country crosses twenty five thousand.
He briefed that the country’s health infrastructure would not be able to cope if the number of active cases exceeded twenty five thousand. The number of active coronavirus cases in the country as on Wednesday is seventeen thousand four hundred and fourteen.
