Kathmandu, March 10. A plane carrying former US President Donald Trump made an emergency landing due to engine failure. The incident occurred at New Orleans on Saturday.
The incident was confirmed by a person on Wednesday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity as the person was not an authorized personnel.
Trump was to return to his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago. He was returning from a Republican donors private event.
Trump was traveling with advisers, a Secret Service detail and support staff on a donor’s private jet.
According to the person, one of the plane’s engines failed roughly 120 kilometers after leaving New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
The former president reached Florida next morning through another donor private jet.
