Prime Minister Deuba to visit India on April 1

Kathmandu, March 28: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is set to visit his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on April 1. He will be on a three day official visit to India upon the invitation of the Indian Prime Minister Modi.

The delegation of PM Deuba will include Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Narayan Khadka, other senior Ministers, Secretaries and officials of the Government of Nepal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, PM Deuba will also be accompanied by wife Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.

During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu.

Furthermore, PM Deuba will be holding a delegation talk with his Indian counterpart on April 2 at the Hyderabad House. He will also be addressing a gathering of business leaders in New Delhi.

Indian PM Modi is scheduled to host a luncheon in honor of Nepali PM Deuba. Additionally, the External Affairs Minister as well as National Security Advisor of the Government of India will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal.

PM Deuba will visit Varanasi on April 3 before his return to Nepal.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit is expected to further strengthen the multifaceted, age-old, and cordial ties between Nepal and India.
