QUAD Summit to take place on May 24 in Tokyo

Kathmandu, April 28. The QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit is scheduled to take place on May 24. The four member states- United States(US), Australia, Japan and India will be participating in the event to be held in Tokyo.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said on Thursday, “US President Biden will visit Japan on May 22-24. As part of the visit, he is going to meet Japanese Prime Minister Kishida on May 23, and take part in the summit of the QUAD nations’ leaders on May 24.”
Further, Biden is also scheduled to meet leaders of Quad nations.
The White House on Thursday revealed Biden will visit South Korea and Japan on May 20-24 to enhance relations between US and the two nations.
Earlier, in September last year, Biden hosted the leaders of Quad for the first ever in-person leaders’ summit of the Quad.
