Kathmandu, April 29. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s teenage son received a death threat and a bullet in mail on Thursday, according to Israeli officials. The incident is the second such threat on Bennett’s family.
The Israeli police have revealed that they have been investigating on the incident.
Earlier, on Wednesday Bennett spoke against polarization in Israel on the occasion of Holocaust Memorial Day.
Bennett has been the target of criticism from Israel’s hard-line right wing after forming his governing coalition last year. His government consists of eight parties from different spectrums including religious nationalists, centrists and an Islamic party.
After the first threat to Bennett’s family, his son expressed his sadness on Instagram. Then, his son Yoni Bennett became a recipient of a similar threat.
Police and officials haven’t revealed any further details.
