Kathmandu, July 23. Pradeep Yadav, the minister of forests and the environment, has assured that the government will take steps to address issues the Madi people are experiencing as a consequence of the national park.
Minister Yadav and his team, including Bharatpur Mayor Renu Dahal, Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation director-general Dr. Ram Chandra Kandel, had an inspection visit to the National Park and the surrounding settlements.
“The Minister instructed the concerned authorities to speed up the projects of electric cable expansion in Madi,” Dahal confirmed.
