Kathmandu. Three persons were killed on the spot when a bus hit a scooter on the East-West highway in Bara district on Sunday.
District Police Office in Bara identified the deceased as 25-year-old Tirthaman Syangtan of Nijgadh Municipality, his wife 23-year-old Jyoti Syangtan and their one-year-old son.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 7244), which was traveling from Pathlaiya to Nijgadh, hit the scooter (Province No. 2-03-004 Pa 4442) at around 4:45 pm, 200 meters east of Dudhaura Bridge at Jitpur-Simara in Bara district.
