Kathmandu, December 19. Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called the newly elected House of Representatives to submit their claim for the post of prime minister.
Since no political party was able to gain a clear majority in the parliament, the president has given a week’s time to the Pratinidhi Sabha members who can secure a majority of votes in becoming the new prime minister.
As per the official release from the president’s office, the members have to submit their claim before 5:00 pm on December 26.
