Kathmandu, March 24. A pilot from Annapurna helicopter has been suspended by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for using offensive and vulgar language towards air traffic controllers.
Authority spokesperson Jagannath Niraula stated that, on March 21, the pilot was attending to the Kathmandu-Lukla flight when he used offensive words to air traffic controllers.
Niraula further continued that two other pilots from Air Dynasty and Fishtail Air have also been grounded for breaching aviation safety guidelines.
“All three pilots will be banned until further notice,” Niraula informed reporters.
