Kathmandu, April 4. The Ministry of Health and Population announced on Monday that Nepal is experiencing an increase in coronavirus infections due to the seasonal cold.
“New variants of the coronavirus, such as Omicron XBB 1.16, have been discovered in neighboring countries, leading to a rise in infections in Nepal,” Ministry’s official spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari told reporters.
