50 Lakhs allocated for the cricket stadium in Chitwan

The Municipal Corporation Bharatpur on Tuesday handed over Rs 50 lakhs for the construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium. Chief Administrative Officer of the Bharatpur Municipal Corporation, Prem Raj Joshi handed over the cheque to the Chairman of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, Sitaram Kattel in the presence of Metropolitan Chief Renu Dahal.
Joshi informed that the municipality has been allocated a total of 4 crores from which 50 lakhs has been given for the ongoing construction in Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 15, Rampur. Urging the foundation to move ahead with speed and efficiency, Dahal said that they were coordinating with the federation, states and other bodies to provide financial assistance in the future on the basis of need and work progress.
