Kathmandu, August 6: Two persons died in a tragic incident at Tarakeshwor municipality-5, when a landslide buried their house on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Tamang, 41, hailing from Nuwakot district, and currently residing in Chigaun, Tarakeshwor, and his daughter, Asma Tamang, 15, according to Superintendent of Police Kumod Dhungel, the Spokesperson at District Police Range, Kathmandu.
While speaking about the incident, Superintendent of Police Kumod Dhungel stated, “The incident took place when the landslide occurred above the house, burying them.”
In addition to the fatalities, Sanju Tamang sustained injuries in the unfortunate event, as reported by the police.
