Rashtriya Swatantra Party to Hold First National Convention in Baisakh
Kathmandu, Sept 18: The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) has announced plans to hold its first national convention in the fourth week of Baisakh. Party Chairman Ravi Lamichhane made the proposal during the party’s first national meeting on Wednesday.
Chairman Lamichhane presented a political report at the National Assembly and suggested holding the general meeting on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of Baisakh. He also proposed launching the Mahakali-Mechi Janayatra campaign during the national gathering.
Various reports, including state-level updates, economic reports, disciplinary matters, and parliamentary practices, were submitted on Tuesday. These reports were discussed and approved in today’s session. While time was set aside for collective discussion, the political report presented by Chairman Lamichhane was passed without further debate.
