Kathmandu, May 2: Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mamedov paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Poudel at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in Shital Niwas on Friday.
During the meeting, President Poudel expressed satisfaction over the growing ties between Nepal and Azerbaijan. He emphasized the need to identify new areas of cooperation and work together to strengthen bilateral relations. Recalling his participation in COP-29, President Poudel said he was confident that mutual relations would deepen further in the future.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mamedov, in turn, noted that President Poudel’s visit to Azerbaijan had added a new dimension to the partnership between the two nations.
