Kathmandu, May 6: Delegates of the 21st Forum of the Asian Payments Network (APN) met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at his official residence in Baluwatar today.
Representatives from 13 countries, including Nepal, gathered to discuss ways to enhance regional cooperation in cross-border retail payment systems and digital finance integration.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Oli praised APN and PhonePe for their contributions to strengthening regional financial connectivity in the digital age. He emphasized the need to further develop and upgrade Nepal’s digital payment infrastructure to keep pace with regional advancements.
