President Poudel Agrees to Dissolve Parliament, Sushila Karki to Lead New Government

Kathmandu, Sept 12: President Ram Chandra Poudel has agreed to dissolve the parliament following an agreement reached at Shital Niwas to meet the demands put forward by the Gen-G movement.

As part of the deal, former Chief Justice Sushila Karki will be appointed as the new prime minister.

Preparations are already underway to house the newly appointed prime minister in a newly formed Home Ministry office at Singhadurbar. Staff have begun arranging chairs, furniture and other necessary items.

According to the plan, the Prime Minister’s Office will be located on the ground floor of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, while the Chief Secretary’s office will be set up on the second floor.
