Kathmandu, Nov 27: Sudurpaschim Royals defeated Lumbini Lions by seven wickets in their opening match of the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Chasing a target of 143 runs, Far-Western Royals reached the total in 18.2 overs of the allotted 20 overs on Thursday.
Earlier, batting first, Lumbini Lions were bowled out in 19.4 overs, posting a target of 143 runs. With this victory, Far-Western Royals remain the only unbeaten team in the ongoing NPL, securing three consecutive wins. The triumph has ensured their place in the playoffs.
