Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chair duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have discussed over the situation created by the motion of no confidence registered at the provincial assembly by the NCP Members of Parliament (MPs) against their own government in Karnali Province.

In an hour-long discussion on Monday, party Chair Prachanda asked Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to direct the dissatisfied MPs to withdraw the motion of no confidence. A seemingly disgruntled Prachanda stated that such actions would act as hinder the unification process, giving rise to incredibility.

Prachanda also underscored that the party had promised for a stable government and the act of registering a vote of no confidence against own government would spread  a negative  message among the people.

“There is no doubt that the no confidence motion has been filed against the Karnali Province government under the guidance of PM Oli,” source close to Prachanda said. “Chair Prachanda has made this request for the betterment of the party so as not to hamper and defer the final steps of unification of the two parties.”
