Brothers found dead in Nawalpur
Kathmandu. The bodies of two deceased individuals have been identified as Bijaya Poudel, 26, and Sangam Poudel, 21, of Gaindakot in Nawalpur District. According to the Nawalpur Police, the corpses of the Poudel brothers had been found after they had been missing since Monday.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Prakash Malla of the District Police Office at Nawalpur, their bodies were discovered at the dam of Jayshree Khola and confirmed that a thorough investigation would be done. He added that the police officers from District Police Office, Sustapur had already begun their investigation into the incident, while both the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
As per SP Malla, they had been missing since Monday morning. Their clothes and slippers had also been found near the dam. One of their bodies was found floating in the water while the body of another was found drowned.
He mentioned that they were found dead after a two day long search. The bodies were found in the dam at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. “It is only after we receive the postmortem reports can we say what happened. As of now we have started our own investigation,” he commented.
