Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received ‘tika’ from his younger sister Kaushalya on the occasion of Bhai Tika. The prime minister received the ‘tika’ at the auspicious time – 11:37 am.
Radhika Shakya, wife of Prime Minister Oli also received ‘tika’ from PM Oli’s sister.
Today (Bhai Tika) sisters of all Nepali Hindu males around the globe put a seven-colored ‘tika’ on their brother’s forehead and offer their brothers garlands of marigold and globe amaranth, celebrating the bond of love between them. However, the corona pandemic has reduced the vibrancy of the festival this year.
