Two suspects of bomb explosion case arrested

Udayapur. Police on Thursday arrested Gaura Bahadur Devkota, 68, of Tapli rural municipality-5, Rupatar and Ritu BK, 35, of Tapli-1, Okhle for the involvement in exploding a bomb at the office of Tapli rural municipality of Udayapur district five days ago.
Chief of District Police Office Udayapur Bhim Prasad Dahal confirmed their arrest. The police informed, according to the National News Agency (RSS), that the duo had planted two Improvised Explosive Device (IED) inside the office of Tapli rural and detonated at night time.
Both BK and Devkota are members of the Netra Bikram Chand group. BK is the Udayapur district member while Devkota is the district adviser and in-charge of Limchungbung Mural municipality of Udayapur, police said.
The accused were arrested by a police team from Katari, Udaypur, after investigation on a tip-off, Udayapur police in-charge Dahal told. Further investigation on the incident has already been initiated, he informed.
