Nepali youth in Indian Army killed in Kashmir attack
Kathmandu. A Nepali youth, Prem Bahadur Khatri, serving in the Indian Army has been killed in ceasefire violation by the Pakistani Army on Friday. The incident took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district in Jammu Kashmir, reported Indian news agency ANI.
Pakistani Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the LoC on 27 November 2020. The Indian troops responded immediately to the enemy fire. During the action, Naik Prem Bahadur Khatri and Rifleman Sukhbir Singh got critically injured and later succumbed to their injuries.
Khatri, who hails from Dang, had been serving in the Indian Army for the last 14 years. Several Nepali youths serving the Indian Army get killed every year defending the Indian border against Pakistan.
