Wheelchairs and tricycles distributed to physically disabled

Bagmati. Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City has provided wheelchairs and tricycles to 26 physically disabled people of Makwanpur today. In a program organized by the Handicap Concern Center, Makwapur in Hetauda, Mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat of the Sub-Metropolis distributed the equipment related to physical disability of mobility.

The wheelchairs and tricycles have been distributed with the help of National Handicap Federation, Bagmati Province and National Handicap Rehabilitation Center, Kathmandu, National News Agency (RSS) mentions.

“The distributed materials would help in the mobility of the handicapped people,” Mayor Mahat said. He also informed that the sub-metropolis has been allocating certain sum through the municipal assembly for the handicaps and helping them.

Deputy Mayor of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City Mina Kumari Lama, central working committee member of National Handicap Federation Nepal, Suman Bhattarai and Chair of the National Handicap Federation, Bagmati,  Ashwin Lamshal among others were present in the program.
