Kathmandu, December 22. One of the main opposition leaders in Russia, Alexei Navalny collapsed in a Russian airline in August in an attack that proved to be fatal for his life. According to an article in BBC, it is said that a Russian agent was tricked into revealing the details of the assassination. It is said that Navalny impersonated as a security personnel to call the agent.

The agent named Konstantin Kudryavtsev, revealed that Navalny was attacked with a nerve agent Novichok, which was placed in his underpants. He also added that the call was made from a Federal Security Service (FSB) landline and he later removed traces of Novichok from Navalny’s clothes.

While Russian President Putin alleges the incident as a ‘trick’ from US Intelligence, agent Kudryavtsev says that it is normal for the leader to back Navalny.

Currently, Navalny is still under treatment in Berlin.
