739 COVID-19 recoveries, 613 new infections in last 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 24. A total of 613 new cases of coronavirus was recorded on Thursday. The total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has reached 2,56,592. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of active cases in Nepal is 7,384.
In the last 24 hours, 739 people have recovered. Meanwhile, cases of total recoveries has reached 2,47,400. The recovery rate has reached 96.4 per cent.
With the addition of five deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 has reached 1808. Similarly, 400 people are in quarantine so far.
5,510 Real-Test Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
