447 recoveries with 534 new COVID-19 cases

Kathmandu, Dec 31 : A total of 534 new cases of coronavirus was recorded on Thursday in the last 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has now reached 2,60,593. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the number of active cases in Nepal is 6,378.
In the last 24 hours, 447 people have recovered. Meanwhile, cases of total recoveries have reached 2,52,359. The recovery rate has reached 96.8 per cent.
With the addition of 9 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 has reached 1856. Similarly, 362 people are in quarantine so far.
6,000 Real-Test Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
