Kathmandu, Jan 5 : Another 522 people were confirmed to be infected with the novel corona virus in Nepal on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), out of 4,551 PCR tests 522 were confirmed with the virus across the country.
At the same time the total number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has reached 262,784. In Nepal, there are 5225 of active cases of COVID-19 across the nation and 578 individuals have been recovered in the last 24 hours. The number of those recoveries of infection has reached 2,55,666 so far. Likewise, the number of deaths caused by COVID-19 has reached 1,893 with the addition of eight individuals in the last 24 hours.
