Schools reopening in Bhaktapur from Jan 14

Kathmandu. Bhaktapur municipality has decided to open schools, allowing students from playgroup to grade 12 to be physically present in the school and take regular classes from January 14.
A meeting of the Town Education Committee of the Municipality took this decision on Tuesday to open the schools after a closure of 10 months. Schools all over Nepal had been closed owing to the COVID-9 pandemic. Mayor Sunil Prajapati informed National News Agency (RSS) that they took this decision following the suggestions from guardians, stakeholders and education experts
In many parts of the country, schools have begun to be operated again as the spread of the pandemic has slowed down. Bhaktapur municipality had also granted permission to reopen the schools earlier for grade 8, 9 and 10 since December 16.
