Assam to close down Muslim schools
Kathmandu, January 2. Assam, a state in which Modi’s BJP party has a majority, has passed a law that requires all Muslim schools in the state to be abolished. Muslim schools, also known as Madrasas, are more than 700 in number the southeastern state of Assam. Leaders of the opposition have been criticizing the move
