As per The Indian Express along with 10,000 high level officials and public personalities in India, President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are under the constant vigil of a Chinese technological firm, Zhenhua Data.

According to the information, several prominent political leaders, businessman, and military officials are firmly on the radar of the company based in the city of Shenzhen. The company that has been linked directly to the Communist Party of China, has apparently compiled a comprehensive database on individuals working within the cabinet, the state’s defense as well as the judiciary.

If the report is to be believed, along with the concerned individuals, real time data of their close family members and associates are being systematically documented. In what has been termed as a means of hybrid warfare, the Chinese firm has collected extensive information on 5 former Prime Ministers, more than 20 Chief Ministers, athletes, religious leaders, activists and journalists as well. Running since 2018, the firm allegedly has consumers vying for the information it collects within the Chinese Government and the military. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in New Delhi has seemingly declined any reports of involvement.
