NAPA organizing its ‘Second Biennial International Scientific Conference’
Kathmandu. Association of Nepalese Agricultural Professionals of Americas (NAPA) is organizing its ‘Second Biennial International Scientific Conference’ from September 25 to 28, 2020, virtually. The conference was scheduled for May 22-25, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per the organization’s press release, the conference has brought together over 358 scientific scholars authors and co-authors from seven countries (US, Nepal, Nigeria, Australia, Canada, Benin Republic, and Morocco), who are directly working and/or collaborating with, representing 84 institutions.
161 scientific presentations along with literary sessions and other events will substantiate the conference theme ‘Global Food Security Through Agricultural Transformation’.
His Excellency Dr. Arjun K. Karki, Ambassador of Nepal to the US, will deliver inaugural speech. Keynote speeches by Dr. Srinivasa Rao Mentreddy, Professor, Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University Huntsville, Alabama, USA and Dr. Ram Kumar Phuyal, Member, National Planning Commission, Government of Nepal will follow then.
