Kathmandu. Member of Parliament and leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Shanta Chaudhary has been admitted to ICU after complications in health due to the coronavirus. After being detected with the virus, she had been staying at the isolation ward of Bir Hospital.
Her son, Anil Chaudhary, through his social media handle asked his mother to stay strong, keep her self-confidence high and expressed hope that she would get good care in the ICU. Her secretarial office also released a statement saying that she has been shifted to the ICU on the fourth day following detection of the virus.
