27 months 25 days after Nirmala was Raped and Murdered, the Nepal Police resumes its investigation.

Kathmandu. Inspector-General of Police Shailesh Thapa Kshetri informed that the mystery of 13-year old Nirmala rape and murder case, that took place in Kanchanpur on 27 July 2018, will be settled soon as the police have reopened the old files and resumed the investigation.
The Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Senior Superintendent Kuber Kadayat commented that the investigation is picking up speed and is now near to the conclusion.
The team of investigating officers are actively studying the old files as well as keeping a close watch on the suspects who were earlier dragged into the investigation. The team is also tracking new individuals in the process.
