12 Taliban insurgents killed in Nangarhar of Afghanistan

Kabul, Afghanistan. The provincial governor’s office of Afghanistan’s eastern province of Nangarhar has reported the death of twelve Taliban insurgents in a retaliatory airstrike by the Afghan security forces on Friday. Seven others have been injured.
According to Asian News International ANI, Five of those killed were Pakistani nationals.The security forces seized seven Kalashnikov rifles belonging to the Taliban.
“Twelve Taliban insurgents, including six Pakistanis, were killed and seven others wounded in a retaliatory airstrike in the Dando area of Khogyani district last night,” the governor’s office said in a statement.
No damage was incurred by civilians or law enforcement agents, ANI informs.
