‘2+2 Ministerial Dialogue between India and the US successful’: Pompeo

Kathmandu. Mike Pompeo, the US Secretary of State has stated that the 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue today in India was a success. India and the United States on Tuesday signed the Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement (BECA) and four more documents during the third 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue
Through the US government twitter account, he has thanked the other participants — External Affairs Minister of India Dr S Jaishankar, Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh, and US Secretary of Defence Dr Mark T Esper — for the fruitful conversation.
“The bond between our nations is built on the foundation of a longstanding friendship, partnership and vibrant democratic traditions,” he writes.
He has also hoped for another successful dialogue.
