Rhinos found dead in Chitwan National Park

Chitwan. An adult and a calf rhino were found dead at Laukhani in the western area of Chitwan National Park (CNP), information officer and assistant conservation officer at the park Ashok Ram informed

A Nepali Army patrol team found the dead rhinos on Wednesday afternoon, according to information officer Ram. The dead female rhino had the horn missing, increasing the chance of poaching behind the incident.

The current fiscal year has seen the death of 11 rhinos in CNP,  out of which nine died naturally.
