Kathmandu. Mumbai Indians have reached the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by defeating Delhi Capitals by 57 runs. As the team reached the final with a great victory, a lamentable record has been set in the name of the Captain, Rohit Sharma.

In the match, he has been dismissed for zero runs and becoming a batsman to be dismissed for having zero runs the most number of times in the IPL. With this match, he has been dismissed for zero runs in 13 IPL matches.

However, Sharma does not solely hold the record. He is one of the 3 players who have been dismissed the most times in the IPL, with 13 dismissals each. Prior to Sharma equalling the record, Harbhajan Singh and Parthiv Patel had also both been dismissed for zero 13 times in the history IPL.

While Mumbai Indians are performing well in IPL 2020, captain Rohit Sharma’s game has not been well, as he has managed to score only two fifties in the ongoing league. After recovering from his injury, he scored only 4 runs against Hyderabad and was dismissed for zero against Delhi.
