Stock Brokers’ Association of Nepal elects Santosh Mainali as the new chair

Kathmandu. Santosh Mainali has been chosen as chair of the new working committee of Stock Brokers’ Association of Nepal. The 26th AGM of the association held on October 6 (today) has chosen Mainali as the chair of the association by a unanimous decision.

In the new working committee, Dharmaraj Sapkota has been appointed the vice-chairman, Gunanidhi Bhusal as general secretary, Bhakti Ram Ghimire as treasurer and Ramandev Pant has been elected as secretary. Among the members are Rabindra Pradhan, Mitra Lal Shrestha, Phanindra Dhakal, Suyog Adhikari, and Madan Poudyal.

Mainali is the director of Secured Securities, broker no. 36. There are six new members in the working committee along with the chair, whereas four have been chosen from among the past members. The tenure of the outgoing chair of the association Bharat Ranabhat had ended in September 28. The new team has joined the office from Friday.
