Kalanki accident leaves three dead, two injured

Kathmandu. Three persons died and two other sustained injuries today in an accident in Kalanki, Kathmandu Metropolis -14  today morning.

The accident took place when a poultry truck (Ba 5 Kha 8865) heading towards to Sitapaila from Balkhu hit the stationary truck (Ba 3 Kha 7530) at around 3.25 , according to National News Agency (RSS).

Roshan Tamang, 24, Bhupendra Tamang, 27, and Madhab Ghimire, 37, of Nuwakot,   who were travelling by the poultry truck, died in the accident. They were critically injured when taken to the Martyr Memorial Hospital Kalanki for treatment and were pronounced dead during the course of treatment.

“Two other injured. Rohan Tamang, 21, and Bijaya Tamang, 24, of Nuwakot, are undergoing treatment in the same hospital,” informed Police Circle Kalimati’s DSP Apilraj Bohora. adding that investigation was being carried.
