Local Governments of Baglung and Tokha install Oxygen Wards

Kathmandu, May 7. After COVID-19 cases started increasing at a rapid rate, the municipal corporation of Baglung installed a 35 – bedded Oxygen Ward at Ratamata. Mayor of Baglung Janak Raj Poudel said that the Dhaulagiri Hospital is already filled up with patients, therefore, increasing the capacity is an immediate necessity.

Meanwhile, Tokha Municipal corporation has begun operating its 15- bed isolation facility newly established at the Tokha Primary Health Centre. Deputy Mayor Gyanmaya Dangol said that the ward will support COVID patients with facilities including oxygen therapy.
