Chinese Red Cross donates oxygen concentrators and ventilators to India

Kathmandu, May 11. Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Weidong through his official Twitter handle announced that the first shipment of anti-pandemic supplies donated by the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) has arrived India.

The first batch that landed on Sunday contained 100 oxygen concentrators, 40 ventilators, and other medical necessities.

The ambassador also announced that RCSC is coordinating with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to provide USD 1 million to the Indian Red Cross Society.

Weidong tweeted, “Nothing in the world is more precious than people’s lives. The rights to subsistence & development are the basic human rights of paramount importance.”
