Kathmandu, June 13. On Saturday, the Chief Minister of the Indian capital state of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal opined that the chances of the third wave of COVID-19 pandemic are quite real.

While speaking at a virtually held oxygen plants ribbon-cutting ceremony, Kejriwal said that the indications of a third wave are coming from the United Kingdom and the Delhi government is preparing a “war-footing” to combat it.

Almost half of the UK population is already vaccinated. Yet, new cases are rising every day… “So, we cannot afford to sit idle,” noted Kejriwal.

22 new  Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen plants came into operation in 9 hospitals across Delhi. The Kejriwal-led government is also adding more tankers and cylinders as a part of preparation against the third wave.
