Defense minister visits National Defense University in Kavrepalanchowk

Kathmandu, October 26. The defense minister Dr. Meenendra Rijal on Monday visited the Nepali Army National Defense University at Sanga.
The defense university, which is currently being built in the Kavrepalanchowk district, will serve as a hub for higher-level training and scientific studies on national security and counter-terrorism.
In October 2019, the government decided to provide 750 ropanis of land to the Nepali Army for the construction of the grand project. After the inspection visit, minister Rijal told reporters that the construction work is proceeding according to plan.
Minister Rijal also paid a visit to the military academy at Kharipati, Bhaktapur, where lieutenant cadets are trained.
