Jaynagar-Kurtha railway witness full occupancy on first day
Kathmandu, April 4. The Jaynagar-Kurtha railway service was jointly inaugurated through a virtual medium by Nepali Prime Minister Deuba and Indian prime minister Modi on Saturday.
The rail that reached Jaynagar through Kurtha on Sunday, witnessed packed passengers in both ordinary and AC seats. The good news on the first day of the railway service was shared by Director-General of Nepal Railway Company, Niranjan Jha.
Further, he added that the railway timetable is set in such a way that it ensures smooth and scheduled railway service.
Locals from Dhanusha are elated to make use of the service, as they had been waiting for a long time for the railway to function. Sanjay Jha, a local youth expressed that Janakpur will witness more tourist inflow and development of markets after the launch of the railway.
