Oli says election must be conducted in fair, impartial manner

Kathmandu, May 8. CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli on Sunday said that the upcoming elections must be conducted in a fair and impartial way.

He said, “It has been found that voters were threatened that the country would meet with an accident if they did not vote for one. Voters should not be threatened. Poll should be organised in a fair and impartial way.” He added that UML is committed towards development of local levels.

Further, he also urged people to vote for ‘sun’ to create a base for the UML leadership in all local levels to realize the goals of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’. The former prime minister revealed that UML will no longer accept acts of weakening national unity.

Moreover, while addressing an event today, Oli pressed the public to give responsibility of Bharatpur to UML. Additionally, he vowed that if UML emerged victorious, Bharatpur will be developed and changed into a smart city.
