Nepal misses out on ICC World Cup after losing to Thailand by 41 runs

Kathmandu, June 7. On Tuesday, Nepal was defeated by Thailand by 41 runs.

This was Nepal’s fourth match in the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asian Qualifiers which is currently being held in Malaysia’s UKM Oval stadium.

With this, Nepal’s chances of competing in the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa next year have now been eliminated.

Nepal is now scheduled to play its final qualifier game against Malaysia on Thursday.

Nepal’s experience in Qualifiers:

  1. First Match – Defeated Qatar by 79 runs
  2. Second Match – Lost to UAE by 10 wickets
  3. Third Match – Defeated Bhutan by 4 wickets
  4. Fourth Match – Lost to Thailand by 41 runs
