Kathmandu, July 7. Deputy Inspector General of Police Tek Prasad Rai has been appointed as the Nepal Police’s central spokesperson.
According to the official announcement, Rai formally took up his office on Thursday morning.
Rai was serving as commander-in-charge of the Nepal Police Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau in Babar Mahal of Kathmandu.
Rai’s predecessor Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) Bishnu Kumar KC has been reassigned to the Crime Investigation School in Maharajgunj.
